Part of our Essentials Aggregates range, 0-4mm Dust is a fine, versatile aggregate in neutral grey tones, made up of a mix of fine particles and small stone fragments, making it an essential product for a wide range of construction and landscaping applications. Its compact, dense structure allows it to bind well and settle firmly, giving strong, stable results whether used on its own or blended with other materials.
In flooring applications, this dust blends effectively with sand and cement to create durable, level screeds with improved strength, providing a reliable base for a wide range of flooring finishes. It’s equally valuable beneath driveways, paving, and paths, where it compacts down to form a smooth, stable sub-base for slabs, blocks, or concrete, helping to prevent movement and settlement once the surface is laid.
For artificial grass installation, 0-4mm Dust works alongside MOT Type 1 to create a stable, permeable base layer for synthetic turf, supporting good drainage while keeping the finished surface level and secure. It’s also well suited to sports and industrial flooring, providing a fine base for concrete in garages, workshops, factories, and sports courts, where a smooth, consistent surface is essential.
Beyond construction uses, this dust is commonly used to top sub-bases and form capping layers, creating durable, flat hard standings for landscaping projects, and can be mixed into soil to improve moisture management and support better growing conditions. As a natural product, please expect some variation in colour and consistency between batches.
