This versatile 10–14mm angular aggregate features soft blue-greys and silvery greys, with subtle warm hints of buff and the occasional pink-rust fleck running through the crushed stone. The angular, crushed stones lock together well underfoot, making Somerset Grey both attractive and highly practical. When dry, the chippings have a soft, muted grey tone; once wet, the colours deepen into richer blue-greys, bringing out the natural variation in the stone for an even more characterful finish. Its neutral palette makes it one of the easiest aggregates to work with, complementing paving, planting, brickwork, and render with ease.
